Design & Technology Curriculum Intent Statement

Design and Technology is an inspiring and practical subject. Children are encouraged to think creatively to design and make products for a purpose. Children are also given opportunities to reflect upon and evaluate existing products, as well as their own, considering their uses and effectiveness. We aim to teach the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to engage in an iterative process of designing and making.
