Year 5 Homework

• Homework will be available on Google Classroom. 
• Homework is set on Fridays and is due in the following Thursday. 
• Spellings will also be set each Friday and you will be tested on the following Friday.
• When completing your homework, upload a clear photo if you can. If you need an exercise book with lines or squares to help you, please ask and we will provide you with one. If you are unable to upload photos, bring your homework book into school for your teacher to look at. 
• Remember to tell us if there are any technical issues stopping you from accessing your Google Classroom.

Year 5 PE Days

• Year 5 PE takes place on a Monday and Thursday - come to school wearing your PE kit.
• Please make sure your PE kit includes: a plain top (plain white, purple or black),  shorts (warmer weather) or joggers (colder weather) and a change of suitable footwear (daps or trainers). If a jumper is worn, it must be a school jumper (no hoodies please). 
• In term 5 and 6, we will be swimming. Please come into school with your swim wear under your school uniform and remember your towel and change of underwear.

Reading

Our aim is to read at least three times per week. Any reading should be recorded in your Reading Record. Super Readers read a range of genres including fiction and non-fiction. You could read chapter books, magazines, comics, fact books or even information about a certain topic online.
