Cookery Curriculum Intent Statement

Cookery is an inspiring and practical subject. Children are encouraged to follow a stepped progression of skills for cookery mastering new ideas and cookery styles throughout their school journey. Children are also given opportunities to reflect upon and evaluate the products they have made, discussing strategies and techniques they found easy or more challenging We aim to teach the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to engage in an iterative process of cookery.
