Friends of Holymead

Welcome to the Friends of Holymead Primary School's Page.

The Friends of Holymead Primary School work hard to support the children's education and learning experience. All parents of children at Holymead are automatically part of the Holymead Friends' Group - it is just up to you how involved you would like to be.

We arrange fundraising activities such as cake sales, coffee morning, Summer and Christmas Fayres, face painting, ice cream sales, Lego sessions......the list goes on and on!

We previously raised between £11,000-£12,000 annually and all the money raised is used to help the school pay for items such as playground and sporting equipment, fun Christmas activities, art equipment, books, curriculum resources, discos and travelling group theatres.

We are a registered charity, and we legally form a committee which consists of the following roles:

Co-Chair: Helen Watts,   Co-Chair: Madeleine Joanes,   Co-Treasurer: Kay Morgan,   Co-Treasurer: Jess Agnew,   Co-Secretary: Amy Walden,   Co-Secretary: Lorna England

We meet approximately once a term, usually on the infant site in the staffroom, to chat about any funding requests we have received from the school and to organise any up-and-coming fundraising events.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help out in many different ways, so keep an eye out for our newsletters/Facebook posts and the meeting minutes sent out via ParentMail and let us know if you can help.

Our Facebook page is called 'Friends of Holymead Primary School Bristol'. If you are not currently a member, but would like to be, please just send us a request to join, so that you can see our posts.
